    Answer:  Concave mirrors are commonly used in not only vehicles headlights but also in torches and search-lights to get powerful parallel beams of light to focus the light at the longer distances by placing the source of light at the focus of the Concave mirrors.

    For example if a small toy of a tree is placed at the focus of the concave mirror the image of the objct is formed as shown in the following figure.
