How much leisure does a student need?

We all know the old adage about how only working without any recreation makes for a dull individual. Parents and teachers alike harp on this, and tell students, especially those taking the board exams for Classes X and XII, to take short breaks from their studies to refresh their minds and rejuvenate their bodies, so as to continue their studies with renewed vigour. However, what should be the approach during the actual exams? Should students take breaks or shouldn’t they take breaks at all? If they do take breaks, for how long? What kind of recreation is advised?
STUDENTS: What is your approach? How does either approach influence your studies?
TEACHERS: What advice do you give your students? How does either approach influence their studies? Does it work differently for different students?
PARENTS: What advice do you give your children? How does either approach influence their studies? Does it work differently for different students?

presently i’m in IX and in my view i would not prefer taking frantic breaks for recreation because usually they tend to divert especially in cases when you r busy battling to understand a concept and the basics…( just during exams) ..! ( as already read) who knows, the coconut may break with another blow but for that its necessary to keep on giving it blows numerous times …! :D
i wud even wanna ask sumthing bout the silence issue…! what shud me the limit of it that wud really benefit me nd my concentration, the minimum one shud practise.
