Maharashtra Board Announces the SSC and HSC Exam results Today

The results of the Maharashtra secondary and higher secondary school certificate examinations which were held in September-October have been announced today at 1.00 pm. The students can check their results on the official website of the Maharashtra Board www.msbshse.ac.in or at http://mahresult.nic.in and find a complete break up of their marks scored in every subject.

As per a statement issued by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the students can collect their marksheets from their respective schools on the 29th of November, 2013 after 11.00 am. Around 2.16 lakh students had appeared for the SSC i.e. class X examinations while the figure was 1.81 lakh for the HSC, i.e. Class XII examinations which were held from 25th September to 17th October.

The statement also said that the students who wish to further apply for a revaluation can submit an application form along with the prescribed fee once they receive their marksheets. In addition to a duly filled application form, the students must submit a photocopy of the original marksheet to their respective schools latest by 9th December. However, the students need to make sure that the photocopy of the online version of the marksheet will not be accepted for revaluation and the application form will be rejected.

Further, those students who are planning to appear in the February-March examination 2014 have to apply for revaluation by the December 5th. If by any chance they are late in doing so, they will have to apply for the same along with a late fee till December 14th. The students can get the application forms from the school itself. On the other hand, the students who would like to apply for the class improvement scheme can do in February-March examinations 2014. Maharashtra SSC Results Announced!!!

The Maharashtra SSC Results for 2012-13 academic session for class X boards examinations, announced on 7th June at 1:00 pm, can be viewed on www.msbshse.ac.in, www.mahresult.nic.in, www.mh-ssc.ac.in, www.rediff.com/exams and www.sscresult.mkcl.org. Students using BSNL, can access their result by sending an SMS saying MHSSC and their seat number to 57766.

Maharashtra SSC resultsThe provisional marksheet of the result can be downloaded from the official website of the board as the students will receive the original marksheets on the June 15 from the school. However, if a student wishes to apply for a re-evaluation or recounting, it can be done only after June 25th as an application will have to be submitted to the respective divisional office with a copy of the original marksheet. Please make a note that the copy of the online markseet is not acceptable.

June 25th is the last date for both the re-evaluation and the application for re-appearing in the October 2013 attempt. Further, the students can also request for a photocopy of the answer sheets but strictly post the announcement of the result i.e. June 27th.

Also, those who wish to apply for the re-evaluation will be required to the same 5 days within of the receipt of the photocopy. The re-evaluation process can start at the divisional office within 5 days from receipt of the photocopy and with the required fee.

On the other hand, the students who have though passed but would like to improve their marks through re-appearing can also do so in October 2013 and March 2014 as per the provisions of the Class Improvement Scheme. The advantage here is that the student will be given the choice of selecting the best score from all the three attempts.
